Poker Players Alliance and Daniel Negreanu Team to Offer Free Poker Instruction Column to All PPA Members PPA committed to offering valuable goods and services to its members Washington, D.C. (May 19, 2008) – The Poker Players Alliance (PPA), the leading poker grassroots advocacy group, today announced that it has teamed with professional poker superstar Daniel Negreanu to offer a weekly poker instruction column to its members. This free member service demonstrates PPA’s continuing effort to offer valuable goods and services to its broad membership base of more than one million poker players and fans in the United States. “We salute Daniel Negreanu and his desire to expand his relationship with the PPA,” said PPA Chairman Former Senator Alfonse D’Amato. He continued, “Daniel is one of the best-known personalities in the game of poker. We’re delighted that he has agreed to work with us. With his support, we’re confident that we can grow our organization and assist poker players who want to keep this great American game of skill available to all.” Known for his fun-loving personality and easy-going attitude, Daniel Negreanu is the perennial poker fan favorite. He was the consensus professional poker Player of the Year in 2004 and is one of the all-time tournament poker money winners with career earnings in excess of $10 million. “The PPA worked with Daniel and Card Shark Media to make this program a reality,” stated PPA Executive Director John Pappas. “PPA members can sign up to receive these columns at www.pokerplayersalliance.org. Simply opt-in and Daniel’s always insightful and often humorous poker advice will be delivered by email every week,” continued Pappas. “Each column is packed with great advice for all poker players,” said Steven J. Miller, President of Card Shark Media, which syndicates Negreanu’s popular newspaper column. “Each column is fast-paced, well-written, and exudes Daniel’s engaging personality,” said Miller.
