Where are the SC Poker Players?

    So, checked SC in the State Forums section and saw 0 posts. Where is everybody? I know there are plenty of poker players here. I see you guys at the tables all the time.

    Don't you think we should have a choice in how we spend our discretionary monies: At Lizard's Thicket eating up all that greasy, heart-clogging food (yummy, but oh so bad for us), or playing poker online (and cashing out legally and hassle-free, should we actually win some!)? Well, I would like a choice, so I sent my political reps the letter from this site. Hope other SC players have sent theirs or will send theirs!!

    Good morning Sophro. I am in Florence. No Lizard's Thicket here, but I've been there and agree that it is good stuff. I recommend Roger's BBQ if you are ever in Florence.

    I sent the state director an email last week, but have not heard anything back yet. I am hopeful there will come a day when we can play poker in cardrooms on the coast without fear of prosecution. It may take awhile, but it will never happen if we don't try to find a way to put pressure on the legistalure. Hopefully, the PPA will help us get organized so that we will have a voice that will be heard.
